The only consolation when I wake up at 5am is morning entertainment. I understand, though. Jealous is a tough one. There are all of those vowels to remember. EDIT: No more post. Ms. Jelous not only has problems spelling but she direct links, too.

Yesterday was Maurice DuBois' last day as Today in New York anchor on NBC. He'd been there seven years and now there's some strange guy giving me the morning news. My TV says his name is Rob Morrison and that I should recognize him from the evening news. I already miss Maurice.

Rob did break the news about Lindsay Lohan's recording deal with Casablanca Records. I adore the girl but I'm doubtful that she belongs on my radio. I have a suspicion that this is all part of her ongoing turf war with Hilary Duff.

I left work at 11am to meet my mother and aunt for lunch and then the theater. It's a great way to spend a Wednesday. I need to make a habit of this. We saw "Bombay Dreams" - it's a mediocre musical but the costumes were phenomenal. I've been on a Broadway kick lately with this show, "Wicked" and "Sight Unseen" all within two weeks. Next on the list are "Avenue Q" and "LSOH." I also want to see Jimmy Smits in "Much Ado About Nothing," this summer's Shakespeare in the Park performance. Tickets are free but you have to line up for them in the middle of the day. I'm going to see what I can do. I adore the play and Jimmy Smits. (Could you resist Victor Sifuentes/Bobby Simone in Shakespearean garb?)

[livejournal.com profile] aproposofnothin provided this link that shows how each senator voted on the motion to proceed to consider the Federal Marriage Amendment. (What the hell is cloture?) There's also an interesting discussion here in [livejournal.com profile] kittenfishlambs' journal about why same sex marriage should (or should not) be left up to the states. We have lawyers weighing in and the Constitution is quoted. Good stuff.

Now I read Remus/Bill.
