Laid out like this it seems fairly clear that I have a Snape fetish.
The Ouidad Report. I love this place. It's all curly hair, all the time. My co-worker was right. It's more than just the products. It's the products and the technique. When they cut your hair they do this thing called "carving and slicing" to lighten the curls and then they teach you a technique to separate the curls. My co-worker calls it "rack and flick" which is pretty much on target. I haven't tried it myself yet but I'm hopeful. And the climate control gel seems strong enough to fend off even SW Florida's humidity. For anyone who's interested, the site is here. In addition to products, the site also has tips and tricks and a list of Ouidad certified salons. After the cut settles and I try the technique myself, I may need another cut. Now that the curls lay flatter, my hair has a lot less volume. I think I may need some layers for a bit more body to my hair. At least I know there are salons in FL where I can get my hair cut.
It's Viggo's birthday today so here, in honor of his day, is my ( favorite Viggo photo. )
It want to climb in with him.
Game 7 tonight. There shouldn't be a game 7 but I'm not going to get into that. The game competes against the season premiere of The West Wing (!!!) which is advertised as the "season of change." I don't need more change. I need Sam back. At the very least, I hope they get rid of that deputy NSA and do something useful with Jimmy Smits. And before The West Wing is another dinner with my sister. We're going to a mexican place on the Upper East Side and having our last sleepover at my apartment before I move. I'm going to miss that girl so much.
I'd love to stay home today, curled up in my bed, and read all of the MMWP recs that came by way but work beckons.
