I just completed an update to my Harry Potter Recs Page.
The update includes:
2 Harry/Snape
5 Lupin/Snape
2 Trio
1 Weasley fic (Ginny/Draco)
3 Misc fic (1 Luna/Snape, 1 Remus/Neville, 1 Draco/Snape)
Sometimes I think I should give my recs page a name that's fancy and fun but, in the end, it would require another banner for the page along with a spot of creativity so, for now, it's going to have to remain "Saturn's Harry Potter Recs."
Today, as far as Sunday's go, was perfect. Spot on, perfect. I woke up early to go to the gym and then came back to clean before two friends came by for brunch. They're struggling with a modified Atkins/South Beach diet so everything I made was on their approved foods list. We had egg white omelettes with vegetables and low fat cottage cheese & sour cream with fresh strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries. It was about 78 degrees today and perfectly sunny so, after brunch, I walked over to the pool for 2 hours or so. I even went in. :) And for dinner I'm cooking up some new meatless "chicken" nuggets that I found at Sweetbay. They're made with whole wheat flour and they're delicious with mustard or ranch dressing. I feel warm and cozy and I'm sitting out on the lanai with my laptop, watching the sun setting over the preserve, and I have a cat at my feet. Like I said, perfect.
About my grandmother's boyfriend...she called for my opinion because she wants to break up with him and she thinks I give the "best advice about relationships." Ahahahahaha! I don't know what game she's playing but her three other grandchildren are engaged and both of her daughters are married. I'm running around trying to figure out what the hell I'm doing and I have the best advice? I'm convinced it's because I'm the only one in the family who's actually out there dating and I can tell her, "No. It's not normal for him to tell you that he plays your answering machine messages over and over again just to hear your voice." It's one thing to do it. It's another to tell you about it.
And Lost fans! If you haven't seen it already, check out CWD's recap of Museum of Television and Radio's "Lost" panel/Q&A session. It's a fantastic write up and a great look behind the scenes of the show. Plus Dom!
Oh! The added bonus of the day? The "Full House" E! True Hollywood Story. I think there should be some shame in my excitement over the show but, nope, don't have any. I can't wait for this one. Bob Saget will bitch about how he was pigeonholed in this family friendly role when he just wants to do adult comedy. John Stamos will rue the day he left General Hospital. Jodie Sweetin will tell us how she hated being upstaged by MKA. All the while, Dave Coulier will be itching for face time while MKA will be conspicuously missing from any interviews because they don't answer calls from E! How could I miss it?
ETA: After prompting/pushing/cajoling kittenfishlambs to dig in, I've been rereading Aqua Fresca. God, I love this story. The angst, the vampire goodness, the porn...so good.
