Amy and Emily.

There are few experiences when you are completely in the moment and nothing else matters. Hell, there is nothing else. That was last night.

I left work too early for my comfort. Got in to the office today at 6am to make up for it. Waited in the park for 2 1/2 hours until The Indigo Girls went on. It was cold. But none of that matters. At all.

They played for almost 2 hours and, in addition to 5 new songs which will be released on their new CD this winter, they played almost all of my favorites. Get Out the Map. Chickenman. Closer to Fine. Mystery. Galileo. Virginia Woolf. All of them. We sang along. And danced. And just basked in Amy and Emily. All of us.

I just can't convey how much I love The Indigo Girls. The move me. And they make me feel.

The show was just what the doctor ordered.

I know that there are a few IG fans on my friends list, so below are some photos of the Girls. My feelings for Amy are probably as close to a girl crush as I'll ever get. Emily's awesome. But Amy blows my mind.

I have some photos of Tony from his 9/24 show at The Bitter End but I have posted so many lately that it's starting to feel redundant. This one, however, is my favorite simply because he was looking over at The Chasez while he was playing. Or, at the very least, in the general direction which, in my mind, translates to at him.

Now, work. Gotta love it.
