I can't wait to see JC's aol sessions. 4 songs! Eeep! I'm cat sitting tonight (Shut up. I'm not kidding.) but perhaps I'll have a chance to watch when I'm not defending myself from monster cat attacks.
Of the random...maybe two months ago, my boss mentioned going to Miami for some volleyball tournament being sponsored by Ocean Drive magazine. I looked at the info but didn't think it fit well into my schedule and I'm going to FL on 3/5 so I wasn't up for the additional flight. This morning,
charlidos posted this about the very same volleyball tournament. And it's hosted by JC! I went to the magazine's website to verify that I was making the correct association and, sure enough, it's one and the same Who knew? In all honesty, I can think of few things less desirable than attending a JC hosted event with my boss.
Of a Viggo nature, this article was posted in
viggo_daily from sfgate.com. I adore Viggo the poet.
And, back to "The Passion of the Christ," there are two very interesting articles I've come across. The first is a Newsweek article that
tallories led me to. It gives a fantastic account of the differences between what history tells us and what Mel Gibson tells us. The second article was posted by
crownzeal and is about Gibson's father's views on the Holocaust. I 100% believe that a child's views can differ from his or her parents but I also think that, sometimes and in this case, it's important to stand up and admit your views differ. If, in fact, they do. I also need to thank
sweetchacha for sending me the tape of Gibson's interview with Diane Sawyer.
