-- I've finally seen the much talked about moe. perform. They were the headliners at yesterday's Langerado music festival in Hollywood, FL. Long day. Satisfying day. Some of which I'm still piecing together. But I'm sure that I enjoyed the music and we ended they day with a 1am screening of TTT.
As part of a music exchange program, I went to see moe. and four co-workers purchased and listened to Schizophrenic over a bottle of wine on Thursday night. They said that, though it's not their typical choice in music, there were some "very good" songs on the album. They also mentioned that JC is mightily preoccupied with sex. And they hate the ballads. All of them. I can live with that, particularly because I caught one of the guys singing "Shake It."

-- One of the joys of being in FL is that I get to drive. And driving means listening to music in the car at full volume. "100 Ways" sounds even better in the car with the booming bass and the windows rolled down. I'm also house/cat sitting for FL counterpart while she and her husband are on a cruise. It's so nice to be in a home instead of a hotel. All this space and it's mine for five days!
