I'm fighting a cold which resulted in 10 hours of sleep last night and a 3 1/2 hour nap this afternoon. I'm such a bad patient. I'm not sure [livejournal.com profile] stargems knows what she's in for tonight.

My accountant sent back my tax stuff and I'm getting a refund that is significantly larger than anything I dared to imagine. First on the list of unnecessary but greatly desired purchases is an Ipod. I think I'm going for the 20GB model. I'm impatient and want it now!now!now! I wish the purchase came with a tutor. I hate trying to figure out new technology.

I went over to Perceval Press to buy some photography books and a bit of poetry but it seems that everything I want is out of stock until March 22nd. Great for Viggo but frustrating for me. Did I mention now!now!now?

I saw the Indigo Girls last night with [livejournal.com profile] rossetti and, as usual, they were fantastic. They played a great mix of new and old including "Get out the Map," "Power of Two," "Least Complicated," and, of course, "Closer to Fine" and "Galileo." I really love the new stuff, as well. "Perfect World," "Heartache for Everyone," and "Dairy Queen" are probably my favorites. If I felt better, I probably would have gone back to Radio City tonight to see them again. Amy and Emily, man. So much talent.

I see that [livejournal.com profile] chased_amy is heading to Texas to see Chris. This is my official attempt at enabling [livejournal.com profile] hammerhead22. Get thee on a plane and go join Amy and [livejournal.com profile] mitajoey!

Also...about ADIDAS...I still think they should have gone with "100 Ways" but I've given up trying to understand marketing choices.
