- My roommate's dog and I have come to an understanding. He wants to play. I oblige. I don't think I'll ever live without a pet again.
- So, there's this client, A. He's British. I just met him for the first time last weekend in DC. I have a bit of a crush. We're getting together on Sunday or Monday with a few other colleagues and I'm embarrassingly giddy. He's sarcastic, good looking, intelligent and his accent is fabulous. (And, interestingly, he only has one leg. He lost the other one in a motorcycle accident a few years ago. For some odd reason, it makes him even sexier. Not the prosthetic part of the scenario but the fact that, when you meet him, you have no idea of what he's been through and deals with every day.)
- My co-workers, friends, and friend list have collectively joined a low-carb/no-carb diet. I, however, am embracing the carbs. Bring on the pasta, the bread, and the beer. A life without carbs is no life I'm prepared to live. Right now, in fact, I'm eating a delicious wheat free/dairy free cookie.
- I looked into train tickets to Pittsburgh. This would be for JC's show, Tim's show, or both. The ticket is only $108 but the ride is 8 hours to Pittsburgh and 10 hours home. I don't know if I have it in me. That's a lot of hours on a train. But I'm considering it and I don't think I have much time to decide. Tickets go on sale soon!
