Blind date last night. We had a nice time once we got past the fact that the place he picked out doesn't exist. He's cute and kind and entertaining. I'd give it an 8 on blind date scale. Not sure if we'll see each other again but it was a good night.
I've been ignoring the fact that Nick and Jessica have their own variety show this Sunday. That may also be it's own unique form of torture. I've seen the commercials and the clips and I just grimace every time. This entire "Nick & Jessica" venture appears to be someone's evil plot to emasculate Nick in the most embarrassing ways possible. Though, I suppose he can take comfort in the fact that he's married to Maxim's #1 hottie of the year. Who needs dignity when you've got a hot chick in your bed?
Completely unrelated...I'm more and more in love with Maroon 5 every day. Such a great band. I need to find out if they're touring in NY this summer. They're with John Mayer, right? I'd even sit through his set to see them.
I also discovered the joys of the I-Tunes music store thanks to Fox. $.99 cents per song isn't bad but those cents can add up pretty quickly. I always said the first song I'd buy would be, "When The Going Gets Tough, The Tough Get Going," by Billy Ocean and I held true to my promise. It's really just Kathleen Turner/Michael Douglas nostalgia but I dig that song. Now I have to keep myself off the site. They make it so easy what with storing your credit card number and transferring the songs to your library in .02 seconds. It a brilliant trap on the part of Apple.
