What a fantastic show. My love for BEP is off the charts. They are a force on stage from the antics to the dynamics to the straight up talent. And Fergie, man. She shot up on my list. The girl can hold her own. The crowd, however, was very noticeably there for N.E.R.D. BEP went on by 7:45pm and the energy level was nowhere near where it should be. The Black Eyed Peas deserve so much more recognition than they get.

(canadiankracka - I thought of you, of course! THe BEPs were signing autographs after the show and I wanted to tell them all that I saw them at Bercy in France! Eeep! Now that was energy.)

So N.E.R.D. Yes! I almost left during the set because I'm old and tired but Cel convinced me to stay. If she hadn't I would have missed Jay-Z! (!!!) Wild. He was on stage and off stage so damn fast and the place was insane. And the N.E.R.D. set was most definitely the Pharrell show. Chad wasn't there and Shay, well, he's Shay. I still haven't quite figured out what he's there for.

But! My favorite part of the night was when Pharrell had everyone chanting "Star Trek." Some of us knew that Star Trek was cool long before N.E.R.D. :)
