It drives me crazy when authors post part 7 of 5295479 of a WIP but don't link to the earlier parts. Particularly when it's in a fic community and they note that they haven't updated in X number of months. I'm not starting at part 7 without the earlier parts. Do your civic duty and lead me to them, bitch.

This morning I embodied sloth. I woke up late, read a bit, had some whole wheat pasta and went back to bed from 1pm- 4pm. As penance, I hit the 6 mile loop around Central Park. There's little as refreshing as Central Park in the spring.

MKA are on the covers of both People and In Touch this week. There's also an interview with them in the Orlando issue of Premiere. The girls have to skip their high school prom to host SNL (both May 15). I can admit I got a little pang for them. The prom is the embodiment of the typical high school experience. It seems strangely appropriate that their celebrity/careers would prevent them from attending. Then I remember their millions/billions/gazillions and realize they can throw their own damn prom if they'd like.

[livejournal.com profile] chicksrus posted this link on the GLADD website. It seems Michigan passed a law allowing doctors to refuse to treat gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered patients. "The Conscientious Objector Policy Act provides that health care workers can refuse service to anyone for moral, ethical, or religious reasons, although the measure would prohibit the refusal of emergency care." I hope, one day, we collectively look back on these laws in shame.

Off to finish the rest of my work out. Abs. Mmmmmm.
