I've spent way too much time trying to decide whether or not to re-read PoA before June 4th so I decided to go back at start with Sorcerer's Stone< and Chamber of Secrets. It's probably been 2 or 3 years since I read the first two books. Oddly, however, I can't find them. PoA and GoF and OotP are right where they belong but the first two books are missing. So I took at trip down to the Lincoln Center B&N to replace them. Can't miss the roped off HP section of the bookstore. I'm about a third of the way through Sorcerer's Stone and I imagine I'll finish tonight. What's 300 pages in the world of Harry Potter?

orlando_daily. There aren't adequate words for that kind of pretty. My lovely icon from EL couldn't be more appropriate.
Cel and I had plans to head to the piers to watch the QM2 leave tonight but it's cold and rainy and not the kind of night to stand on a pier. I'm sure it will be back one day. (Um, Cel? Did you get my voicemail about the cold and the rain? I half expect my doorbell to ring in 5 minutes in which case we'll find another form of entertainment because of, well, the cold and the rain. :))
Back to the book. Harry's about to be sorted.
