Fic Rec: Scratch by Aucta Sinistra. H/S. It's such a beautiful story that characterizes Snape almost exactly as I imagine him should he find himself in such a situation - stoic, self-loathing, determined, afraid, hopeless, and hopeful. The ending dialogue is near flawless in it's honesty.

About now, I should be packing for FL as I have to be up at 5am to catch my flight. I imagine I won't be on-line much for the next two and half days. When I'm not in transit, I have back to back client meetings. Amazingly, I'm not overly concerned about my flight tomorrow. It may be tonight's wine talking but I think there's a good chance I'll be okay.
