US Weekly is becoming such a guilty pleasure. I love that I've seen 1/2 of the photos on LJ before they appear in print. Justin & Usher. Justin golfing with his mom. (Socks with sandals!) Emma on TRL. Orlando filming KoH.
Kate's been spending time with Orlando on the set. There's photographic evidence. US was even kind enough to add hearts to the photo of Orli and Kate holdings hands. I really, really like dirty, scruffy Orlando.
Lindsey Lohan's father was arrested for beating up his brother-in-law at Lindsey's seven year old sister's communion party. Classy. It's got to suck, though, to be seventeen and see your family's dirty laundry published in national magazines.
Nick & Paris over? Say it ain't so! (Okay, I don't so much care. But I know people who do. What's the scoop? He's saying they're over? Her reps are saying they aren't?) EDIT: Seems Nick and Paris are as in love as ever at the MTV MAs.

Ashlee Simpson. It is entirely possible that Ashlee Simpson may overtake Hilary Duff on my list of overrated, irksome teen pop stars. MTV has a reality TV show documenting the making of Ashlee's record debut? I heard the rumors but I hoped the whole thing would go away. There are so many things wrong with this I don't know where to start.
So that's this week in US. It really is crack. Elsewhere, hpana reports that "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban has broken the opening day record set by Spider-Man on May 3, 2002. Azkaban pulled in an estimated $41.2 million on Friday, surpassing Spider-Man's take of $39.4 million. It looks like it might be on its way to beat Spider-Man's opening weekend figure of $114.8 million." I can't wait to see the weekend totals. I have high hopes.
