I love the 90's seems a bit premature in 2004 but it sure is fun. Especially with JC and Lance cameos. I'll also admit a certain appeal to Dom's. He's an entertaining boy. I'm just not sure how ready I am to wax nostalgic about the events of 1999.
There's a billing discrepancy at work and I worry that I am partially responsible. After going back and forth on $70K of 2002/2003 promotional billing, I told a client that we were settled and gave my word that we would not apply any more charges for 2002 or 2003. Now our finance department claims to have found more and I have to research these and hope they are either a) already paid by the client or b) invalid for one reason or another. If not, I risk losing my credibility with the client when we apply the new 2003 charges and/or getting a lashing from my company for telling him we were settled. But I thought we were. I hate work stress but I hate it most when it's because I may have fucked up. Bah. I've got to deal with this tomorrow. Can't put it off any longer. In fact, maybe I'll e-mail Finance tonight and get it over with. I want to do everything right, damn it!
EDIT: I sent an e-mail about this and also remembered that my finance department recently told me that this client didn't have any open billing from 2003. This may be more complicated than I thought but also, perhaps, less my responsibility. I'm a perfectionist. I'd much rather handle a complicated situation than the possibility that I overlooked $36K in billing. Where does that character trait sort me? Ravenclaw? Gryffindor? Slytherin? Surely not Hufflepuff.
In cheerful, JoeC news, however,
Off to Tasti D-lite.
