I had dinner tonight with a Republican client and a FL co-worker who's still undecided. The arguments...Bush has protected us since 9/11. He's kept us safe. Social policies don't matter in a world where terrorism is a real threat.

Bush can win if people think this way. If educated, intelligent people think this way.

I can't even get into it now that I'm back at the hotel because, after debating for more than a hour, I'm wiped. I'm wiped and frightened about the outcome of this election.

And I made another bet. If Kerry loses I'm going to be horrified and broke.

Cel...I figured it out. You research and post links. I make bets with co-workers and clients.

But there is good this evening. Bravo is running a West Wing marathon. Right now I'm watching "In the Shadow of Two Gunmen" which is one of my favorite episodes of TV. Period. I love this episode for many, many reasons but the incredible moments between characters deserves special mention. The way Jed kisses Leo right before surgery. The way Donna walks into the hospital and babble and babbles and you just feel the weight because she doesn't know about Josh yet and Toby's the one who says it because he's the only one who can. And Sam and Josh. Oh, Sam and Josh.
