I love it! We have Phelps/Phelps/Phelps art. Twins and an Olympian in their speedos. This had to happen eventually. Not explicitly unsafe for work but there are some scantily clad boys in close proximity to each other.
Israel won their first Olympic gold medal yesterday. It was really fucking cool to hear them play the Israeli national anthem. Even more than that, I'm glad that it brought up reminders of the Munich Massacre at the '72 games. I found an "on that day" report from BBC circa September 6, 1972. Even now, it's chilling.
Dinner and theater with the family last night. "Movin' Out" was a fun show but not one of my favorites. Of course I loved the music and the dancing was phenomenal but I found that I missed dialog. It's sort of interpretive dance held together by a loose plot. That's well and good and certainly has it's place but it's not exactly what I was expecting. The next show on my agenda is "Avenue Q." I've been saying that for a while now but I mean it this time.
