As I was watching the show I kept thinking that there were 9494589 different ways to take the show and the creators/producers took the least engaging option. It was all over the place. There was no focus. The characters weren't particularly likable. I hope the show picks up fast or it's done. And I had such high hopes. It's a damn good thing Rob Lowe is pretty.


I spent half the night preparing myself for the details involved in buying a car. Did you know that it's important to do research? Like, a ton of research. I haven't owned a car in more than three years and the last one I had was in impulse buy at a used car lot. I love Toyotas and the more I research the more set I am on the Camery Solara Convertable SE. Now I'm told that I have to research list prices vs. invoice prices and options and go to multiple dealers knowing exactly what I should be paying. It sounds almost as complicated as buying a condo but apparently people do it all the time so I should be able to as well.

The interesting thing about living in NYC is that you're prepared for things completely impractical in other parts of the country but absolutely unskilled in basic bits of living that are second nature to people who live everywhere else.

But a Camery Solara Convertible! I love it!
