* The idea that Sinclair's Broadcast Group would order 62 tv stations to preempt prime time programming for an anti-Kerry documentary is unthinkable. I don't even know how to process it. How can this be allowed? Kerry's "invited" to a panel discussion following the broadcast??? What is that? And, to be clear, I'm not opposed to the idea of the documentary. I just can't fathom a Federal Elections Commission that would allow the broadcast group to force networks to air the film days before the election.
* Franz Ferdinand fans...According to MTV.com Scottish band Franz Ferdinand have been approached by Warner Bros. to write some music for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and may even appear as the characters the Weird Sisters.
* Is anyone else having problems responding to LJ comments via Hotmail? I can type in a response but the comment won't post. It's not computer specific either because it's a problem on both my home and work laptops.
* The Yankees will give me a post-season heart attack one day. It's almost inevitable. And did anyone else get choked up watching the other players welcome back Rivera? What an ordeal. I don't know how he got his head together for last night's game.
* Meeting in NJ today. First big pitch of the new job. My fingers are crossed!
