The inspection is complete and the report was submitted to the current owners. It's mostly small stuff...replacing a bathtub stopper, fixing a latch on a window...but they also found a small leak in the 2nd bedroom. Since it's structural, the owners don't have to fix it but they do have to provide us with documentation from the condo association agreeing to fix it within a certain amount of time and we're asking for a closing credit to repair the drywall on the inside of the condo.

Interestingly, I recently commented in [livejournal.com profile] lilysaid's poll that I don't feel like a grown up. I can definitively say that's changed in the past few weeks. It's a good feeling, though. When this is done, I'm going to own a home that I bought by myself. I'm also stepping into a challenging job which is terrifying but exciting, too. As much as I don't want to leave NY (at all!), this is right for me.

For two years in a row, [livejournal.com profile] worldwouldend put a smile on my face. Thanks for the boss' day message! I can't wait until the day I can send one to you in return. :)

Kansas City girls...I miss you, too. Have a wonderful weekend and tell mom I said hi. (At least now she doesn't have to figure out what to do with the girl who doesn't eat meat.)

And happiest birthday wishes to [livejournal.com profile] stamplet! I hope it's a great one full of Wipeout goodness!
