I don't know if it's Chris' birthday or some other odd moment of nostalgia but I spent the past bit watching the Celebrity Tour bootlegs. Those boys. Those boys. There was nothing like the five of them at the top of their game. I could watch the choreography for "Celebrity" on an endless loop. Those moves with the mics get me every time. And this look from JC will still kill me when I'm 80. All of this leaves me very torn about this year's SeSa. I don't know if I have the time or inspiration to write a story this year but it's so, so tempting.
I finally watched Tim McGraw's interview on The Today Show where he talks about his role in Friday Night Lights. He was adorable when he spoke about taking his hat off for the role. I need to see the film while it's still in theaters. Though, big screen, hatless, cruel Tim may be more than I can handle.
dr. vegas is getting better episode by episode. I may be the only person watching which doesn't bode well for the future of the show but I'm sticking with it as long as it airs. Rob Lowe is also in a tv movie tonight on CBS, Perfect Strangers. It's nothing I'd watch otherwise, but Rob is enough to get me to set my VCR.
Hopefully tonight will finish the ALCS and the Yankees can walk away with a sweep. Last night's game was absurd. I was hoping for a win at Fenway but I never expected a 19 - 8 trouncing. I really want to take A-Rod and Jeter home with me.
I'm back in NYC after a night on Long Island for a going away party my family threw for me. Twenty seven people made it to my mom's house and it was the first time in a while that my mom and dad's families were together. There was the expected family dynamics with minor aftermath today but it was so good to see everyone before I go. I also came back to NYC with loot that will be very valuable in the new place. Did you know Corning Ware works in the oven and microwave? Now I'm off to see "Shall We Dance." Richard Gere is so charming.
