kittenfishlambs offered to write vignettes if provided with a popslash pairing and a word to work with. I'm pushy, though, and ended up with Harry/Snape as well as JoeC. My word was "butterbeer." I'm still giggling.

And gaeta asked us to rank 20 popular characters from most to least virtuous. This was tough. Is Snape more or less virtuous than Albus? What about Lucious compared to Peter?

Sally was christened "Sally Snape" last night by a friend visiting for dinner. Sally Potter-Snape, to be exact but I'm willing to shorten it. The hyphenate gets kind of long and Sally Snape has such a nice ring to it. I suppose, then, her full name is Sally Ride Potter-Snape which is even more of a mouthful for such a little girl.

I'm fighting the good fight but I'm officially a crazy pet owner. I already printed out photos and I'm harassing strangers in the elevators with them. I can't help myself. I really can't.

Tomorrow I'm off to Buffalo for work. My flight is at 6:30am and my return flight lands at 6:45pm. Hopefully, when I get back, I'll learn that the addendum to the sales contract is complete and the mortgage package is on its way. I close on Friday and it seems like there are still a lot of details to hammer out. I don't know if it's always this way but, for my sanity, I need this part done.
