First, for [livejournal.com profile] tallories, a recap of this week's episode.
They all get back to The White House and, of course, no one can find Leo until Charlie breaks the news that the secret service found him in the woods at Camp David. It's critical and the president and first lady rush off to the hospital in Bethesda. In the meantime, Toby, Josh, and CJ are left to hold down the fort. Toby and Josh are completely incompetent without direction and, while it's supposed to be funny, it's just kind of sad after all this time. CJ, on the other hand, is a model of cool setting her up perfectly for her new Chief of Staff job. But I'm getting ahead of myself. Before the Republicans will vote on peace keeping troups in Israel, they want a tax cut which turns into a farce. But it works out. Sort of. After some touch and go moments, Leo recovers and has a one on one with Jed who's feeling terribly guilty about inducing Leo's heart attack. Leo eventually admits that he's not coming back as Chief of Staff and says he has only one name for the position. At the end of the episode, we learn that it's CJ. Which really isn't a surprise anymore.

I don't know if that helped. It seems I'm not so strong with the details. ;)

I hate that key members of the staff are going to run off to other campaigns. I want them to report to CJ for the long haul, damn it. She will keep me coming back week after week. She's wittey and smart and fun and classy and can hang with the boys. I don't know if it's Allison Janney or CJ Cregg but I'm hooked and hooked good.
