I've been in an HP fog all week and it was capped off by this week's EW in my mailbox featuring none other than my favorite boy wizard and a feature, "Snape vs. Snape: Two opposing views on just whose side Harry's nemesis is on," that I swear was compiled from various LJ posts.

Now I'm trying to redo my journal style and, even with this link from

jchalo I'm stil having issues. I want to be tech savvy. Well, actually, I want my new layout but being tech savvy would get me there and spare all of you this whining.

I don't think I ever shared the resolution to my no cold water/not hot oven problem. My gas was off. Yes, I know. Live and learn. Next time my house falls apart I'll call the gas company. I'm just delighted to have hot water again.

Top Five Star Trek Moments

1) "There! Are! FOUR! Lights!" Chain of Command - Part 2. That's my favorite TNG episode and my favorite line from TNG.
2) That brief moment in "Attached" when I thought Picard and Crusher were going to get together.
3) The end of "Best of Both Worlds - Part One" when Picard appears on the screen as Locutus of Borg.
4) "The Trouble with Tribbles." That's one of my favorite TOS episodes and always reminds me of being a kid.
5) My first Star Trek convention. I felt like I was home. :)

Top Five Harry Potter Moments

1) The final scene with Harry & Snape on the ground of Hogwarts. I've read it 15 times already.
2) Harry finding out he's a wizard in SS.
3) The scene between Sirius and Harry at the end of PoA when Harry realizes Sirius is as close to (caring) family as he has.
4) Fred & George's big goodbye from Hogwarts in OotP.
5) The thing Harry will miss the most in GoF.

3) Dark!Harry. I know he's going to defeat Voldemort in the end but, in deep dark places I don't talk about, I'd like to see him take Voldemort's place.
4) In real life...intelligence. I'm so turned on by someone who's smart. Really smart. And it's even better if the smarts are in math and/or science.
