Years ago, I was severely traumatized but a JoeC story that ended abruptly as Joey was cooking lasagna for JC. As a result, I never, ever read WIPs. I have ingrained fear that the author won't finish and, besides that, I'm big on immediate gratification.

Despite my long standing aversion, I'm in the middle of two WIPs. The first is the Tutelage arc by [livejournal.com profile] cruisedirector. It's school age Lucius/Severus and I found myself sucked in before I knew what I was doing. The second is Ghost by [livejournal.com profile] alienseas. The story is post Grave Danger Nick/Gil and, oh my god, I want more now.

[livejournal.com profile] basingstoke wrote Euler's Jewel (McKay/Sheppard) and I can completely relate to McKay in this story. It's why I believe I'm somehow destined to end up with a mathematician or scientist. Math and science are hot.

Completely unrelated to any of the above, my friends page was wacked out for a very long time today. Lo and behold, it's
Ashley's fault. I enjoy new photos of Ash as much as the next girl but, for heaven's sake, cut tags are our friend.

In a recent post, [livejournal.com profile] tarie asked about kinks. For the record, my bullet proof kinks are rimming and fisting. I also love me some h/c but I'm pickier with h/c than I am with some good old fashioned fisting. And the kinks I don't like? Mpreg. I hate mpreg. I have no interest in reading about a pregnant man. I also have little to no interest in cross dressing and genderbenders. As I mentioned in Tarie's post, I see no appeal in a story where Draco uses polyjuice potion to convince Ron he's Hermione only to somehow end up pregnant with Ron's child. Ugh.

There are a boatload of photos of Viggo turning up from the Toronto International Film Festival. He's gorgeous.
