I am a little bit in love with John Sheppard.
I finally finished season one of SGA and I'm caught up through The Seige, part III. I was going to stop after part II but Sheppard was in the jumper and he was flying toward the Wraith ship and there was no stopping either of us.
Okay. So Sheppard is hot with the hair and the hero complex and that pretty, pretty face. I completely understand why McKay loves him so. And he does (love him, that is). Between Chaya and their off world missions and the look on his face in The Seige when he thought Sheppard was dead? It's obvious. Then there's McKay who is so flawed and funny and human and wonderful, wonderful, wonderful to watch on screen.
So I know there's this Ronan guy to look forward to and I think they start going to Earth more regularly. I also recall something about a new colonel on Atlantis and a promotion for Sheppard. Not sure what happens with Ford, though. Tomorrow night I dig into 2x02. Whooo!
Watching the show has been odd because I'm simultaneously reading a ton of McKay/Sheppard fic. As a result, I had a vague idea of many episode plots before they happened. Usually I'm a freak about spoilers but, this time, it just served to feed the addiction.
