There is a special kind of joy during the season premier of a show you love. And I love House. Immensely.


* The scenes with House and Stacy are so much more powerful than any interaction we've ever seen between House and Cameron. And, speaking of Cameron, can she do her job effectively if she can't separate herself from her patients? Caring is one thing but there have to be boundaries.

* Is it possible that Hugh Laurie's eyes are even bluer this season?

* Both Wilson's shirt and tie are still hideous. Chase, on the other hand, looked great. Or maybe it's just his face amplifying everything around him.

* House is shameless. I loved the scene where he was watching his soap in the room with the coma patient.

* The final song is the same song from the West Wing when Simon Donovan died. It is forever linked to CJ sitting on the bench sobbing.
