I knew this was coming as soon as I heard that one of my managers would be out of the office for five weeks. No Witching Hour for me. I spoke with my boss this morning and he confirmed what I already knew - it's simply not feasible for me to take 5 consecutive days of personal time while a manager's out. Time off for the Jewish holidays is non-negotiable so The Witching Hour has to go. I know it's what has to happen but still. Very disappointing.

krabapple...My company will reimburse me for my 1/2 of our hotel room so you're not stuck with the full cost of the room. I sent you an e-mail to work out the details. And arsenicjade? We will meet eventually!)
This morningjchalo posted about her desire for new JC/Joey fic and, my god, I'm with her on that. There's nothing that would renew my interest in popslash more than a long JoeC story - particularly future fic where they're middle aged, settled, madly in love, and still having lots of sex.
