* First. House! Wilson! House and Wilson! Oh, the love! They're together in the office in the rain and House knows Cuddy couldn't have diagnosed Alfredo but he could have and Wilson knows that too but would never say anything. He's just solid and there.
* I alternately loathe and love House and Cuddy's dynamic. I don't like her insecurities and there are moments when I can't stand how House talks to her but then he has these moments of kindness, like at the end of the episode, where it bring into focus both why I put up with him and why Cuddy puts up with him. It's more than just his talent - it's also his intent. I also think, in such a powerful position, it's comforting to know there's someone who isn't treating you differently just because you're chief of medicine. House keeps Cuddy on a level playing field which, I imagine, is very different from most of the hospital staff.
* I love Wilson's interactions with Stacy. As much as he's her friend, when all is said and done, he has House's back.
* I also love House's screen time with Stacy. They know each other and have incredible chemistry. She's barely there for me until she's interacting with House and then it's all alive. I loved that final scene...the look she gave him when he was being kind to Cuddy and then the following look when he started talking about their sex life. Hugh Laurie and Sela Ward work for me in big ways.
* Cameron inched up another notch on my "pitiful meter" when she grilled Cuddy.
* Chase is very pretty and Foreman looked hot in that brown leather jacket. I don't give them nearly enough love.
* Endocarditis? A heart infection? It took them that long to figure it out? Didn't anyone watch Jimmy Smits' tearful goodbye on NYPD Blue?
House: You haven't been a real doctor in ten years. You'll make a mess all over the sheets.
Alfredo: You'll work when you graduate college.
Brother: Why? You never went -
Alfredo: I never had a big brother to tell me to shut up.
House: If only he'd fallen on his head. Then he wouldn't have any of these symptoms.
House: Looks like Cuddy. Same cleavage.
House: But this stuff is craaaaazy dangerous.
Wilson: This is exactly the type of thing you would do.
House: Well, obviously.
Cameron: Pneumonia doesn't hit that fast.
House: You're right. Only pavement hits that fast.
House: Rico and I no longer trust you deciding what's important and what's not.
Foreman: You ever think of writing a book on office politics?
House: She uses super tampons. What does that mean?
Chase: You two are just too nasty to each other not to have been...nasty.
House: I can be nasty without having slept with someone. I'm that good.
Cuddy: Are you being intentionally dense?
House: Huh?
House: No, I'm lying. Stupid to do this with her in the room, I guess.
Stacy: I wanted to be a lawyer 'till my second week of law school. Sorry. Your story.
House: I liked you better when you were coming up with wacky drugs for us to try.
Cameron: If you're wrong, he'll end up with no hands and no feet.
House: Technically, if I'm wrong he'll end up dead but I get your point.
House: I'm thinking an old black guy wh thinks the CIA invented rap music to make your people kill each other?
House: Why do you think everyone thinks you and I had sex? Think there could be something to it?
ETA: I will be up well past my bedtime so I can watch Viggo on The Daily Show.
