"I can't help thinking of it as a federal crime scene." This has to be so odd for Will but he deserves this chance. He's ready for the job despite the fact that he's not ready quite at this moment. Why do you think CJ leaves him out there? Do you think she's somewhat resentful that Will's out there in Toby's place? "My instincts say to crawl up in a ball in the corner of my office." Now that I'm (almost) over Sam's departure, I can appreciate Will in The West Wing. Especially when he falls over in his chair. :)

Margaret's hair!!! I love it!

I'm still not used to seeing Bruno working for the Republicans. It's disconcerting.

I can't help liking Vinick. I know that's the point but it works. He's smart, charismatic, in charge, and moderate. Santos is still my guy, though.

DONNA! DONNA! She looks so good. And she's back! I didn't realize how much I missed her. I enjoy Donna when she's not all about Josh. And, oh, the scene in the bedroom. There's so much between them and, damn, Josh is still so selfish. He doesn't get that it's about more than him but I have a feeling he's going to.

I enjoyed the debate on abortion a lot more than I expected to. It was far less tiring than I anticipated. And, yet again, Santos surprised me. He's so well spoken and sure of his convictions.

Oh, yeah. I've been waiting for a Santos/Vinick showdown. The tension of who's going to speak first...and Santos wins. The thing is, on some level, I think they respect each other. Vinick thinks Santos is green - which is his, comparatively - but he knows Santos has substance. And they're willing to look each other in the eye. So fierce. I love it!

I can't wait for the debate next week. And it's LIVE!?!?! For real?

Remarkably (remarkably), I made it to the gym today. I forgot about daylight savings time in the morning and then again after a nap but, even with my clock all off, I managed to get my act together and work of the shrimp pad thai I ate for breakfast. I love the 80's 3D was on at the gym I nearly fell off the treadmill during the segment on Short Circuit. Short Circuit! Number five is alive! I was 10 in 1986. I was supposed to love that movie. That's my excuse.

I also come bearing recs. First of all, did anyone realize that [livejournal.com profile] astolat is writing House fic? I can't say enough about how much I enjoy her writing.

Pathogenesis and Intervention - House/Wilson, NC-17. There's a medical crisis at the hospital and it takes it's toll on House.

Maryland - House/Wilson, PG-13. House learns that Wilson is considering an offer from Johns Hopkins.

Then there's this fantastic Rupert/Dan RPS that [livejournal.com profile] between_names led me to. It's set well in the future and it's spot on. All These Years by [livejournal.com profile] halfgalleon.

And. AND! [livejournal.com profile] smittywing started an SGA AU version of "Can't Buy Me Love!" Eeeeeep! I loved that move and I love the idea of a McKay/Sheppard version! Go read the first part and encourage smittywing to write more and more and more!
