Ha! Wilson writing on the white board! With crappy handwriting. And House looks good in that t-shirt and jacket.
House: When I said I'd do anything for the money I didn't mean it.
House: Thank you for saving me the trouble of deflecting that personal problem with a joke.
Oh, the bike! I've been waiting for the bike!
Wilson: Two wheeled vehicles that go 150 miles an hour do not go well with crippled, irresponsible, drug addicts.
Oh, god. He has a cane holder on his bike. This is the best thing ever.
House: You'd rather have dinner with your wife?
Wilson: Yes, I would. If she were speaking to me.
House: Unlike your wife, I can make it worth your while.
House & Wilson! Oh, the love!
Ahahahaha! I love the ducklings' reactions when House says, "Hi mom." And, fucking Cameron. "Is everything okay?"
Foreman: I'm sure his mother's a piece of work. Only a mother could do that much damage.
Oh, hell. Cameron went to Wilson about this? She sucks. And Wilson's going to conspire with her. The bastard.
House: Are these people completely incapable of telling the truth to each other?
Wilson: If you had the money, why did you need the loan?
House: I didn't. I wanted to see if you'd loan it to me...
Wilson: You're trying to objectively measure how much I value our friendship?
Wilson: I've been lying to you in increasing amounts ever since I told you you look good unshaved about a year ago. It's an experiment.
THE LOVE!
Wait a minute. Did Cameron invite herself along for dinner? And Cuddy? How are House and Wilson supposed to have a date with House's parents if Cameron and Cuddy are there?
House: I don't hate her. I hate him.
Cameron: So, it's okay to lie to House but not to a patient?
Cuddy: Yeah.
House: If you wanted to be a doctor maybe you should have buckled down a little harder in high school.
Paramedic: Bite me.
God, this poor father. It's heartbreaking. Oh, man.
House's Dad: Greg's told us all about you.
Cameron: Really?
House's Dad: New, huh?
House: Just gullible.
Cameron is so fucking pushy but she gets points for not jumping in on their dinner. Also? His parents are too young. The conversation was stilted. The
House's Dad: You know what your problem is Greg?
House: Shifting gears?
House's Dad: You just don't know how lucky you are.
Wilson and the dad...just – the look in Wilson's eyes – again with my heart. And then Chase. God. This is worse than the girl with cancer. That poor dad.
House: Thank you. For not eating.
Cameron: It was never my business.
House: My dad's just like you. Not the caring till your eyes pop out. The insane moral compass...crappy quality for a dad.
But he's saying it's not so bad in Cameron, isn't he? Somehow, House's reaction to Cameron softened my reaction to her.
Oh, lord. The scene with the dad and the kid...it's too much. Too. Much.
Cameron: So his dad tell the truth. He can't handle that?
Wilson: He hates being a disappointment...You know what I figure is worse than watching your son become crippled? Watching him be miserable.
For the love of House/Wilson! This episode!
I think this episode review is 90% quotes. But the show's so damned quotable.
Two days of client meetings wore me out but I took off at 5 today, drove home with the top down, watched two episodes of Oz and one of CSI all before House, and I'm going to sleep like a baby tonight. And tomorrow I get an EL!
