I loved this film. I loved. this. film. It was funny and smart and emotional and heartbreaking and frightening and, simply, an excellent adaptation of the book.

By far, GoF was the funniest of the films. There were so many perfect little moments - Ron's "crush" on Viktor Krum, Neville dancing in his room, Ron's botched attempt to ask Fleur to the dance, Ron's dress robes, Ron's dance scene with McGonagall, every moment the Phelps brothers were on screen, Harry in the prefects bathroom with Myrtle...I'll never remember them all but I laughed. Hard.

I cried, too. The scene in the graveyard all the way through to Harry's return with Cedric and Mr. Diggory's reaction broke me. I normally have a stronger reaction to text but this moved me in a way the book didn't. Seeing Voldemort take on Harry was terrifying and the crowd's slow realization that Cedric was dead was painful to watch. Dan Radcliffe isn't the strongest actor of the bunch but he carried the film and did a great job. He's getting better at the crying. :)

The kids are getting so old! All of them! I can hardly believe the difference between GoF and PoA and it was the most evident when first years were on screen, too. Emma Watson was wonderful and I positively adore Rupert Grint.

There were wonderful moments all throughout the film and, though I missed some of what they cut from the book, I thought it was a great screenplay. I can't wait to see it again! And then again!

I'm so easy.
