My suitcase is packed and The Hive has been viewed.
I love prisoner Sheppard. A lot. Partly because I think of the aftermath where Rodney frets over him and partly because he's so darn petulant. "You mean the dart? We call 'em darts because they're so pointy."
Is that a new beginning!?!? When I was a kid, I loved new seasons of TV shows because we got a new beginning. I guess I still like that. :)
Sheppard with the knives in the cell!
Sheppard: You have a knife?
Ford: One for them to find. One to keep. Everyone knows that.
And Ronon's a one man artillery!
Wraith juice!Rodney! Oh Rodney! "You can taken 'em out easy. Just a few well placed karate chops and down they go." And, "And that's what happens when you back a brilliant scientist into a corner!" And this, too:
McKay: I had to take out the guards and they were huge and dumb and stupid...
Weir: You haven't mentioned Sheppard, Teyla, Ronon, either.
McKay: Yes! They were there, too!..."You should have seen me! I was amazing!"
Withdrawl!Rodney was a big tragic to watch but I have to admit he made me laugh. David Hewlett is fantastic. And so is Beckett! "I feel not unlike the priest in the exorcist."
Sheppard was so awkward with that girl and, before I knew what the deal was I was torn between, "HATE! HATE!" and "MARY SUE! MARY SUE!" He sure was smart, though, with the figuring out the plan and pitting the Wraith against each other and ESCAPING IN THE NICK OF TIME. Take that Caldwell!
OMG. McKay's face every time he thinks Sheppard's dead...just try to convince me that's not love. Seriously.
YAY! New SGA! The file was floating all over my friends list today but, if anyone needs it, let me know. I'll toss you the link.
Someone my mother works with recently visited Israel and brought me back Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone IN HEBREW!

Now I have the US, UK, Spanish, and Hebrew editions of the first book. The French edition is next on my list!
The extra bonus today is that it's a Juliana day. I will never tire of coming home to a clean house. And tomorrow I go to New York! The only thing that could make the day even better is new House. Oh, wait! New House tonight! Wheeeee!
ETA: Oh! I got to sit in for my boss in an executive planning meeting today! I can't even pretend that I don't get a complete thrill out of it. I feel like a kid at the grownup's table only I actually have things to contribute every now and then.
