This morning feels like nine lifetimes ago.
My flight was delayed an hour but it gave me extra time to read Rule of Law by Arsenic which delivered and then some. As I commented to Arsenic, I love her characterizations of Hermione and Snape particularly when they're together. The plot is long and winding and completely original. As an added bonus, I adore Harry in this story, too.
(In the world of SGA, I just read Resonant's new fic, Experiment which is both hot and touching. I really love me some McShep.)
I got home in time to take a nap before surprising my grandmother at her birthday dinner. That was followed by some pie making (Chocolate Pecan! Good stuff.) and Criminal Minds which was interrupted briefly so I could watch Tim sing with Faith on her NBC special. And it's Wednesday so I had to take care of today's house_notice update.
Tomorrow is my dad's family at noon and then back to my mom's house for a house full of guests which is followed by IMAX!GoF & RENT with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
kiffle and a college friend on Friday. I just saw no fewer than 10 posts raving about RENT which has me itching to go now (!) but I will force myself to wait until 2:15 on Friday.
And, wow, that really was a play by play. But it's exciting times when I return home. ;)
