Did this episode remind any Star Trek:TNG fans of "The Inner Light?" There was no space probe simulating a lifetime but there were vague similarities.

So, Sheppard is a HERO. He faces down that invisible beasty thing again and again and without hesitation because he is BRAVE and HEROIC even when he's in linen alien garb rather than his thigh holster. And I like the scruff but it sure did make his ears look pointy.

"What is it with you and ascended women?" Episode after episode, the show is one big love letter between Sheppard and McKay. They save each other. They fret for the other's safety. They miss each other when they're apart. And, as in any angsty romance novel, McKay is forced to watch Sheppard succumb to ascended women.

The bonus moment of the episode? McKay's Conan and Xena reference. Totally.

I was itching to get home and watch SGA all day so, of course, my 4pm meeting ran looooooong. We did come to important conclusions, though. For example: e = mc2 and, if we can only drive a truck at the speed of light, The Economist will arrive at Washington Reagan airport yesterday.
