• Work was no good today - mostly because it included a chewing out from our President for something I actually didn't have anything to do with - but the day was redeemed by not_satisfied who MADE ME PAGES FOR MY STARGATE: ATLANTIS RECS! Wheeeee! It looks awesome! SEEEEEEEEEEEEE!?!? It's so pretty! Next up is tweaking the index page to include a direct link to these recs. SGA is no longer a miscellaneous fandom! Thank you so much, I. You have no idea how much I appreciate all the time you take to help me out with my site layout.

• merry_smutmas authors were revealed! I meant to post my recs prior to the author reveal but I'm still way behind so it will have to wait. A good number were included in my last Moonshot update, though, so I'll have to pop in and add the author's names. One of the things I LOVE about anonymous fests is that I'm introduced to fantastic authors I never read before. I'm sure I'm not the only one who reads many of the same authors over and over again and anonymous fests get me out of that habit. sea change is a great example of a story I loved by an author I never read before and now I plan to check out the rest of her fic. Maroon 5 RPS, CSI, The Goonies! How can I resist?
  
  
• I have a lot of travel over the next four weeks and I have to gear up. Amarillo on 1/17 followed by NYC on 1/18 and 1/19. My mother and step-father are coming to visit that weekend and we're all flying down on the same flight from NY. Then my rescheduled Cincinnati trip on 1/30 and 1/31 followed by another trip to NY from 2/8- 2/12. That last one's vacation, though, and, despite the cold, cold weather, I'm looking forward to it.
