• [livejournal.com profile] true_enough did an excellent job tackling Nick/Gil for [livejournal.com profile] ship_manifesto. In canon, I'm hoping Gil and Sophia eventually end up together but Nick/Gil is where I always head when I'm looking for CSI fic.

  • New West Wing tonight and it's the Vice Presidential debate. I'm trying to gear up for an hour of Leo. Leo!

  • Two Harry/Snape recs:

Badb Catha by [livejournal.com profile] elanor_isolda. At the start of Harry's sixth year, he is tired, confused and weary of Dumbledore's games. And some force beyond his control is drawing him towards Snape. HBP compliant and, oh, how my heart aches for Snape by the end of this story.

The Mark of the Cain by [livejournal.com profile] bethbethbeth. "'Since the fall of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, ' Minister of Magic Rufus Scrimgeour said in his opening remarks today to the Wizengamot, 'our Ministry has had no higher priority than ensuring that the last of the remaining Death Eaters be brought to justice. For far too long, the Witches and Wizards of our world have lived in fear of those whose dark acts and darker purposes were masked from view. What we do here today will serve as a warning that those who would give themselves over to evil will no longer be able to operate in the shadows.'" After the fall of Voldmort, Harry returns to Wizarding London to find that the last remaining Death Eater has been dealt with in a most unusual fashion.

  • Sally was playing around with some large shopping bags and got caught up in one of the handles. Her entire body was stuck in the bag and the poor little thing was racing around the house like a maniac trying to get loose. I've never seen her so scared. She's been under the bed for about three hours. Scared the hell out of me, too, because there was no way I could catch her in that state.

  • Viggo's been out and about sporting a mustache that really works for me. His face is gorgeous.
