After work I stopped at B&N to pick up SG-1 season 3 (because OMG I can't take waiting for netflix) and it turns out B&N is having a Buy 2 Get 1 DVD sale through July 5th! It's good for box sets so, with my member discount and a $20 gift card in my wallet, I picked up 6 season of SG-1 for $150 instead of the $300 they usually retail for. I can't pass up a 1/2 off opportunity. Once I got home, I also sprung for the 2 remaining seasons (and s6 of West Wing for free) via bn.com because clearly I must own them all. Clearly. Joy!
Which leads me to this...
Things I love about Jack O'Neill:
1) He loves his team. He respects Sam's mind and Teal'c honor and OH, MY GOD he loves Daniel. He can't stop touching Daniel and looking at Daniel and they are the SLASHIEST ever.
2) Jack and kids. Is there much better than Jack and kids?
3) Jack's sense of humor. (Self-deprecating or otherwise.) We know he's not as dumb as he plays but his sense of humor and irony make me laugh out loud. Constantly. Sweet.
4) Jack and Thor. If Jack/Daniel wasn't the ultimate SG-1 OTP I'd be a hardcore Jack/Thor shipper. Or, perhaps, Jack/Asgard shipper. :)
Things I love about Daniel Jackson:
1) His lower lip. Oh, his lower lip. I can't take my eyes off it. It's begging to be grabbed between my teeth.
2) Bandaniel! I can't believe I stared at![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
hammerhead22's Bandaniel icon for years before I got it. But I get it now.
3) His lower lip. Daniel's lower lip is worth two places on my "things I love about Daniel Jackson" list.
And now I own it all!
