• SGA: Your Cowboy Days Are Over by samdonne (John, Gen, NC-17 for language, violence, and John/OFC sex) This story is spectacular. It's a new reality for John after the events of 02x20, Allies, and M weaves a tale that could stand alone in the annals of science fiction writing. It's a haunting concept that's beautifully executed.
  
  
• SGA: Cross Into the Blue by harriet_spy (John, Gen) SGA canon is reimagined in the Temeraire universe. A wonderful crossover concept. (Plus, Knievel!)
  
  
• SG-1: Gone Fishing by kai (Jack/Thor, Jack/OMC, Jack/Daniel, R) After saving the world again, Jack finally gets to go fishing. Takes place immediately following Small Victories. Such a wonderfully descriptive and moving story - particularly for unapologetic Jack/Thor fans. (Sequels are Long Fire and Parallax.)
  
  
• SPN: Enough by topaz119 and without_me (Jared/Jensen, NC-17) "Jared thinks Jensen can't give him what he needs. For as smart as Jared is, sometimes he's awfully pretty." D/s. So, so good.
  
  
• CSI: Deliverance by kalimyre (Gil/Nick, PG) Post Gum Drops.
  

Tomorrow I'm off to Baltimore for a three day conference. It will be the blend of good times and exhaustion that these conferences are always are but I prepared for it by doing nothing all day long.
