The "site wiring fault" indicator light is illuminated on my surge protector. I tested four upstairs outlets and it was the same thing in all four of them. According to this site, the warning light means one of three things:
1. Overloaded neutral wire.
2. Reversed polarity (hot and neutral wires are reversed).
3. Missing ground wire.

I'm not sure whether or not this is something I should take seriously or worry about but I don't want to fry my computer because I ignored it.

I suppose the first thing I can do is call the guy who did my home inspection and confirm whether or not this is something he checked for. (And perhaps get an opinion on whether or not it's even something to worry about.)

ETA: Someone kick me if I start to make lots of dull posts about wiring and plumbing and lawn care. Seriously. It will show you care.
