SGA (03x07) Common Ground...

I've REALLY been looking forward to this episode! Prisoner!Sheppard! And Kolya, man. KOLYA. The way Sheppard yells it is something special. :)

Ronon's so fierce. And hot. Fierce and hot and damn protective of Sheppard.

Oh! And Rodney's immediate and panicked, "What have you done to him??" And his eyes when he saw the wraith. If that's not love, I don't know what is. *twirls*

Did you see the look in Sheppard's eyes when he realized who he was talking to in the cell? (You'd only notice if you could tear your eyes away from the salt and pepper hair.) I love his anger and determination and FAITH IN HIS FRIENDS. *sigh*

HAHAHAHA! Rodney and the things he thought Sheppard would say! With Ronon's, "Just stay behind me." I LOVE IT!

"The truth is, I would have settled for Dr. McKay but I don't think I would have enjoyed his constant wailing." Even the bad guys have him pegged.

Sheppard's an eternal optimist. I dig it. But even more than that I dig the PAIN in Rodney's eyes and ANGUISH in Ronon's growl while they watch the wraith feed.

Okay. I fucking love solider Sheppard with the knife and the gun and just yes. *swoons*

I knew it! I knew the wraith was going to restore him. It was the only way without some kind of Carso magic. But the whole thing worked for me. The whole episode worked for me. Kolya!


I'm all set for the post-ep fic. Bring it on.


SG-1 (10x06) Counterstrike...

* The dynamic between Daniel and Vala was FANTASTIC. Their banter in season 9 was fun but that could only go so far and her aggressive advances were starting to wear thin. I loved them tonight, though! They have obvious affection for each other and my breath caught when Daniel told her about Shar'e. I don't suppose it's something he has opportunity or cause to speak of often. Most people either already know or can't know.

* I expected Adria to be more imposing. Kind of kick ass evil in a way she wasn't. Or vengeful beyond the invisible telekinetic stuff. Not sucky and lame. (With the exception of her, "We have plans for you" to Daniel because OMG I KNOW WHAT THOSE PLANS ARE! AHHHHHHHHHHHH!)

* I'm so glad they let Daniel keep those glasses. The glasses may well be the reason Daniel is exponentially hotter than Shanks.



I never got around to commenting on '200' or 'Real World'...

200! Brilliant. And funny. And everything I hoped for.

Real World - The episode was okay (and damn nice for Sheppard/Wier shippers) but it was a waste of RDA. I don't want to see him in someone's mind. I want it to be real. And Weir's okay but I'll never think she's the best leader for the Atlantis expedition. She looked great, though.

* green_grrl took a look at "200" through the eyes of a J/D shipper. I buy it. Um. Obviously. (Plus the youtube version by claritylore.)

* Has anyone read good Daniel/Vala fic?

* Secret message to lilysaid. 95% of the time, my references to J/D are Jack/Daniel rather than Joe/David. But I'll keep you posted on the other 5%. ;)

* I really, REALLY don't need the new LotR limited edition two disc sets but the commercials make my heart flutter.

* BSG preview!!! October 6th!
