House is such a great show. I've loved both episodes this season...it seems like the show is maturing. The characters have their voices and they're finally evolving. I used to overlook Cuddy but she's so real this season. Compassionate, duplicitous, flawed. I'm more interested than ever. (And I really loved her comment about Cameron.) All of the characters are complex without being caricatures and the friendship between House & Wilson is one of my favorites on television. Wilson makes bad decisions because he cares about House and thinks he knows better. House makes bad decisions because he's fucked up and knows Wilson won't disappear on him no matter how badly he screws up. It's a dysfunctional combination but it's beautiful to watch. And I like Cameron's bangs. Hard to believe, I know, but I actually have something nice to say about her.
I was at the sorority house until 1am last night. I was exhausted today but I'm having a whole lot of fun. It's nice to be back in the swing of things with a strong, appreciative chapter and the knowledge that I don't have to go on to another one when I'm through. The bonus is that the other advisors are my age so I may actually get some non-work friends out of all of this.
Happy birthday to
