- So, Pirates of the Third Reich was on Spike tonight and it reinforced, once again, how tragic it is that Gil isn't with Heather. They had crazy, intense chemistry from the moment they met. Heather brings out a side Gil doesn't share with most people, a vulnerability, and I think Gil does the same for Heather. I'd easily place them in my top 5 het OTPs. I had hopes they'd somehow end up together before Petersen leaves the show but, with the current Gil/Sara development, I doubt it's likely. 'Tis a shame. (In lieu of canon, has anyone read good Gil/Heather fic?)
