These idiots. I know it's called Summer Fever for a reason but they're going to die. I'm holding my breath for next week.


In the meantime, I'll just be here watching the Biggest Loser finale with my box of tissues in hand.

• between_names forwarded me this photo of momma and baby giraffe. Giraffes are the best. I want to be rich and eccentric just so I can buy 50 acres in San Diego and raise giraffes.
  
  
• New employee started on Monday. It's always so draining but I keep reminding myself that investing the time now will pay off in spades later.
  
  
• The new update page is freaking me out. Nothing's where it's supposed to be.
  
  
• Earlier in the week, I commented that the only actor, other than Michael Shanks, who could drive me to a Lifetime movie of the week is Rob Lowe. Little did I know that Rob Lowe has his very own TNT Christmas movie of the week airing next Monday. He's so pretty.
  
  
• I'm being wooed by someone at work. He travels 75% of the time which is constraining but he did show up today with 5 mission patches from the Johnson Space Center in Houston. He reminds me of John Corbett and gets huge kudos for not only sharing my interests but thinking of me when he was in Houston.
