• An "Unending" wiki" was set up to detail the known spoilers for the series finale of SG-1. The whole concept of getting stuck into a time dilation field and traveling to the future is a lovely concept (because we all want to see how Daniel ends up teaching at UofM in Ann Arbor) but it's too reminiscent of the ST:TNG finale. We've already been here with a sci-fi series finale. (And I'm sure some sitcoms, as well, though I can't think of examples at the moment.) That said, unless you're M*A*S*H, it's hard to please fans with a series finales and, regardless of what they do, I'll want more.

Thinking about the characters who could possibly get together, I'm left with Cameron/Vala or Daniel/Vala. We know Jack isn't in the episode so it's not Sam/Jack and Cameron/Sam seems a little implausible with all of the Sam/Jack tension in the series. (Though I'd far prefer Sam/Cameron to Sam/Jack.) My one hope is that, whatever the pairing is, it plays out in a way that transitions easily to the movies whether it's without the relationship at all or one that plays easily in the background.

I'm not nearly ready to say goodbye to the show.

  • I finally had a chance to watch "The Quest Part II." We know Daniel is about to go all Prior on us (*sobs for poor tortured Daniel*) but do we know if he's with the Ori until the end of the season/series or do they get him back sooner than that? And he's absent from two of the remaining episodes, correct? I'm usually a spoilerphobe but I want to know what I'm getting myself into.

  • This year the Girl Scouts offered up a "Cookie Share" program where you can donate your cookies to the troops. It's perfect. I can support my 11 year old neighbor & the troops and also avoid eating a box of tagalongs in 5 minutes flat.

  • I have a second date tonight with the guy from Tuesday. I have some reservations but I always have reservations so I'm just going with it.
