Yesterday was a rough day at work due to some announcements associated with our Q4 and year end earning statements so, before bed, I searched for "kittens" on youtube to see if something that simple would relax me before bed. (Don't mock. The only alternative was Valium.) Instead of relaxing it was the FUNNIEST THING EVER because poor Sally was going mad trying to find the cats!

We're in the middle of a snow storm that's expected to leave 5- 8" but, honestly, I don't mind. It's March 21st and we're nearing the end of the cold season so I'm going to enjoy the snow fall and smile at my neighbors as they plow my driveway tomorrow morning. (Not entertaining, however, was trying to get up my driveway. It's mildly humiliating to keep sliding back down to the street but I persevered and my car is finally tucked away.)

The Road is scheduled for release on 11/28! I still haven't read the book and don't know that I plan to but I will surely be at the movie on opening night. A girl should always know when to expect more Viggo. (And, sometime in 08, we also have "Appaloosa" and "Good." \o/ )

I never bothered to put a bed in one of my guest rooms but I have company coming in May (!!!) and I'd prefer that no one sleeps on the floor so today I had a new queen mattress and box spring delivered. A virgin bed is now patiently sitting in wait for Memorial Day weekend. :)

Let me talk about why I loved Ianto in 'Adrift': I love Ianto always but I especially loved him in "Adrift." In particular, it was evident how he's come into his own. He's completely unfazed by Jack's joke about inviting Gwen to play naked hide and seek and simply replies with, "He cheats. He always cheats." There's no insecurity or possessiveness. He simply knows what he has. I also loved that he wasn't embarrassed about getting caught having sex in the Hub. Ianto's grown so comfortable with himself. Then there was the tip he gave Gwen about the island. He tried to talk with Jack but he's not ruled by Jack. Contrary to what I expected, Ianto and Jack are developing a relationship of equals and I enjoy it tremendously.
