Hi! I'm back from NY and far too wound up for bed!
I have so much catch up from ComicCon. The BSG panel and Dr. Who and Torchwood and SGA and SG-1 and SPN and now I need to focus on Heroes, too, because BRUCE BOXLEITNER joined the cast!! A colleague was there for work and kindly sent me photos via his iPhone for the past few days but it wasn't quite the same (particularly because out interests differ) so tomorrow evening will be spent finding video and reports of all the goodness I'm sure occurred.
Today's flight home from NY was a HORROR. We boarded at 12:30pm for our 12:35pm flight and finally took off at 5:30pm. OH, MY GOD it was awful. The only bright spot was that my friend Anne waited on our dinner plans and I was still able to go over to her place for a home cooked meal and great company.
My nephew is the cutest little boy ever. I got to NY at 11pm on Friday and, after a run on Saturday morning, headed over to my sister's. My brother-in-law was out and about so it was just the three of us all day. I fed Chase and held him and gave him a bath and just basked in my sister. As a bonus, my sister ordered 4lb lobsters for us. YUM. PS. My sister looks amazing. After 7 weeks, she's within 8 pounds of her pre-pregnancy weight and she hasn't even been to the gym yet. It's astounding.
I'm sure there was something else. Oh! Dr. Who. I only have one episode left in season 1 and I have all sorts of things to say about Nine vs. Ten and Nine/Rose vs. Ten/Rose because I'm spending an absurd amount of time thinking about Dr. Who. But, really, what else is there to do when you're sitting on the runway for FIVE HOURS?
