First up, thank yous are in order. ghettogreta, who doesn't even watch CSI, gave me a heads up about some Lady Heather related links that I hadn't seen. \o/ (And that's all I have to say about CSI this week except that there are only two Grissom episodes left. After next week we have to wait until January 15th when his final bow airs. :( On the upside, I may be so distracted by the January 16th premiere of BSG season 4.5 that I don't wallow in the end of new Grissom on my screen. Or not.)

Speaking of BSG, I am in HIBERNATION. I plan to watch the webisodes but I am avoiding anything that looks like a spoiler for the final 10 episodes of the series. PS. BSG WEBISODES!!

So, this year brings the end of BSG, the end of SGA, and the end of my CSI viewing. Maybe it's time to give Fringe a hot. Y/N?

But back to the thank yous. Thank you for the gift, lilysaid! I am going to try to find far more pros than cons in 2009.

I fell in love with Rodrigo Y Gabriela and finally picked up their self-titled CD. I think Diablo Rojo is my favorite. Here is video of a live performance.

Last week, Venus and Jupiter were visible in the night sky illuminated by the moon. It was a cloudy night here in MI so my mother took a few photos for me. Here's one of her photos. And here's one from discovermagazine.com.

After a two week hiatus I finally made it back to the gym. I was aiming for a 4mi run, managed 5k, and hated most of those 30 minutes but at least I got my ass there. I'm counting it as a win.

Yesterday was a full day of shopping with my friends M & D. If I was a triplet, I'm pretty sure these guys would have been my brothers. I love them. Anyway, it was a successful - though expensive - day of shopping followed up by a trip to Anne Taylor today for clothes to go with the awesome boots I bought yesterday. As soon as I buy my parents' holiday presents I am on a spending freeze OMG.

I really want to take a nap but it's 4pm and a nap means I will be up too late. Perhaps I'll start season 1 of The L Word.
