that's one dark little universe...

In an act that was less altruism and more about me getting off my lazy ass, I ventured down to Armani Exchange this morning with Pet. She is a fantastic enabler and I left with some great new stuff. That I can't afford. After smoothies, I headed out to see Mystic River and Pet got on a train to somewhere cold in the northern regions of NY.

( Mystic River. Seriously disturbing. )

I guess that's what a good movie is supposed to do to you but I was wholly unprepared for this film. So dark. And I do recommend it.

Elsewhere...I've seen the icon meme going around but I have a feeling that the universal answer regarding my icons would be "diva hips/fuck me hair." It's been my default forever. Aside from, perhaps, a JoeC or two, is there anything that represents me better?

Last, I do want to publicly thank my SeSa betas for their help with And Who I Am Now. mickeym, mixedsignal, and stargems provided invaluable feedback and canadiankracka had to listen to me wander around Paris saying, "So, they left the museum..." I appreciate you all!

2004 multi-fandom wishlist...

Because I told Cel I would.

1) A quick end to Hillary Duff's 15 minutes.

2) A long term fix for The West Wing. Bring Sorkin back. Bring Rob Lowe back. Hire Chelsea Clinton as a political adviser. I don't care how it's done. Just make it happen.

3) A Justin/Cameron engagement. No, really.

4) A mission to send Jeter and Williams in to confiscate Pettite's Astros gear and return him to the Yankees where he belongs.

5) A replacement for the replacement ADA on L&O:SVU. The red head is a disaster.

6) I want the Hobbits in 2004. The pitfalls each time I attempt to see the movies are getting a bit silly.

7) The Celebrity tour DVD. Please?

8) Schizophrenic.

9) Final resolution to whatever it is that Justin, Joey, Lance, JC, and Chris are doing as a collective.

Bonus: A group performance. We're coming up on a year and I'm getting itchy.
