the lure of young boys in Miami...

I think I may be wired to go for younger men whenever I hit the Miami area. D, from Challenge weekend, was young. Very young. Too young. The guy from this weekend is a little bit older than D but comes with the baggage of being the son of one of my mother's closest friends. I grew up with this kid. He's always been a kid. But now he's not. And we sort of have a date tomorrow. I'm completely freaking out and see nothing but disaster in this scenario but I'm sure I'll go out with him anyway.

There's no time to catch up on LJ, but since there are people who look out for me and make sure I'm up to speed on pretty photos even when I'm out of town, I was prepared for the JC/SNL photos.

I also see Lance has been all over Sundance. What's with the Glamour Shots style photos? He consistently looks like he's posing for a senior portrait. Though I do dig the scarf and a bunch of the candids.

FYI- thebeamiestface: The current issue of Acoustic Guitar (with Dave Matthews on the cover) has a one page article on Howie Day. There's a cute photo, too.

PS. I'm very jealous of everyone who's off from work today.

what was that about a slippery slope?

FL Counterpart called today to tell me that she saw JC on Extra over the weekend. She had great things to say about the clip which is fairly astounding considering all she listens to is Sublime, Bob Marley, and Moe.

I just watched the clip and, even without anything of substance, I adore him endlessly. JC does it for me. Flat out, no holds barred, does it for me. And about the clip...is he wearing the same shirt that he had on for the EW photo shoot?

Young boy and I are playing phone tag. I'm determined to give this a shot.

Last thing...can someone point me in the direction of sites or archives for the following variety of LotR fic?

EDIT: Apparently Access Hollywood is going to have a feature about Jane Carter's arrest for battery. She beat up a woman? Weh? Also, Paris/Nick fans...there's a little segment on the two of them on Extra tonight. Mostly about Paris but there's a bit of Nick in there, too.
